We had the absolute pleasure of creating a memorable experience for Lia and Oli at Lapstone Barn, an 18th Century barn that provided the most magical backdrop for their wedding in the heart of the Cotswolds.
They envisioned their wedding as a harmonious blend of rustic charm and understated elegance. The Cotswolds' natural beauty and Lapstone Barn's character served as the perfect canvas for their celebration as they wanted to enhance these elements with thoughtful design and décor choices.
They were drawn to a soft and romantic colour palette that complemented the venue's surroundings, with shades of green and creamy white, which we were delighted to incorporate into the design, by using faux floral arrangements. Faux flowers do not wilt or wither, which meant that we could arrange and prepare them well in advance of their wedding day and as they are available year-round and not subject to seasonal limitations, they were able to choose the types of flowers they wanted, regardless of whether they were in season. They opted for soft white roses, peonies and eucalyptus, with lilies taking centre stage in Lia’s bouquet, a special reminder of her mum, whose favourite flowers they were.
The tablescapes reflected the theme with the same flowers and colours being used throughout, with the addition of soft flickering candlelight hanging from the displays on each table. We also placed thoughtful signage throughout the venue, including welcome signs, seating charts and personal touches in the shape of a ‘loved ones’ display to remember their loved ones, which added a truly loving and personalised feel to the day. As Lapstone Barn offered various spaces for the wedding, including the ceremony area, reception area, and outdoor spaces, we were able to transform each space to align with Oli and Lia’s theme and vision.

Mia's bridal bouquet was a masterpiece, crafted from a mesmerizing blend of stunning faux flowers and natural grasses. The bouquet captured the essence of boho-chic with its relaxed, organic feel. Each bloom and grass stem was carefully selected to create a harmonious mix of textures and colours. It was not just a bouquet; it was a work of art that perfectly embodied Mia's unique style and the natural beauty of their boho wedding.
The bridesmaids carried matching bouquets that were miniature versions of her own, creating a cohesive and visually stunning bridal party. The faux flowers and natural grasses perfectly complemented their boho-chic dresses, adding a burst of colour and beauty to the ceremony.
For the groom, Dan, and all the male members of the wedding party, we created exquisite buttonholes that echoed the boho theme. These buttonholes combined faux flowers and natural elements, harmonising with Mia's bouquet while adding a touch of masculinity. They were a symbol of unity and a stylish addition to the gentlemen's attire.
The female members of the wedding party, including mothers and grandmothers, were adorned with elegant corsages. These delicate floral accessories added a touch of grace and femininity, harmonising with the overall boho theme.
One of the most captivating elements of Mia and Dan's wedding was the stunning floral moongate. Crafted with a combination of faux flowers, natural grasses, and breath-taking pampas grass, it served as a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. The moongate framed their love story, creating a dreamy and enchanting atmosphere that left guests in awe.

We created an atmosphere that radiated warmth, love and intimacy with our décor and design choices being carefully curated to make their small gathering feel like a grand celebration of love. In light of the ongoing health concerns, we were dedicated to ensuring the safety of them and their guests by adhering to all relevant health guidelines to create a secure and comfortable environment for their celebration.
We believe that it's the small details that make a wedding truly memorable and from the bride’s beautiful bouquet and buttonholes for Gary and his male guests to the flower wand and flower crown for Sharon’s beautiful granddaughter, we ensured that each element added to the significance of their day.

At Haybridge Weddings and Events, we were thrilled to be entrusted with the planning and coordination of Hayley and Tom's enchanting Christmas wedding at Stratton Audely Barn near Bicester. As their dedicated wedding and events experts, we were committed to curating a celebration that embodied the warmth, joy and magic of the season while reflecting their unique love story.
Our journey with Hayley and Tom began with a thoughtful consultation, where we listened to their dreams and desires for their Christmas wedding. Their vision of a cosy and romantic celebration amidst the rustic charm of Stratton Audely Barn served as our guiding star.
For their special day, we designed a warm, cosy winter décor theme. Think glistening white and silver accents, twinkling fairy lights and lush evergreen wreaths adorning the barn's wooden beams and a majestic Christmas tree standing tall as a focal point to the entrance to the barn, radiating Christmas cheer.
The floral arrangements featured a mix of beautiful roses, elegant florals and lush greenery to evoke the colours of the season. We even incorporated touches of pinecones, holly berries and mistletoe for a truly festive ambiance and as the day transitioned into night, the barn came alive with the warm glow of candles and string lights, casting a magical spell over the dance floor and dining area.
Hayley and Tom's personalities will shone through in the personal touches scattered throughout the venue, from custom signage, decorated gin bottles (their favourite tipple) and other sentimental details infused the celebration with deeply personal touches.

Debbie and Craig's wedding was a celebration like no other, where love, creativity and personal touches merged to create an unforgettable day. At Haybridge Weddings and Events, we were honoured to be part of their journey, providing a range of services that added a touch of magic to their special day.
Debbie's bridal bouquet was a showstopper, a breath-taking arrangement crafted entirely from feathers. Each feather was carefully selected to match the couple's colour scheme and style, creating a one-of-a-kind bouquet that perfectly complemented Debbie's energy and style. It was a unique twist on tradition that left everyone in awe.
Our team designed and crafted a suite of personalised wedding signage that not only guided guests throughout the venue but also added a sense of charm and whimsy to the decor. The ‘Pick a Seat, Not a Side’ welcomed the guests and directed them to any seat they chose for the ceremony, which was what the couple wanted, a mingling of both families and friends. This sign was not just functional but a stunning statement that enhanced the overall ambiance of the wedding.
For the groom, Craig, we created a striking feather buttonhole. This unique accessory perfectly matched Debbie's bouquet, creating a visual connection between the couple. It was a small yet impactful detail that exemplified the couple's attention to detail and their desire to make every element of their wedding day significant.
Debbie and Craig's bridesmaids carried feather wands instead of traditional bouquets. These whimsical wands added a touch of playfulness to the ceremony, as they were waved in celebration during the couple's first kiss as newlyweds. The bridesmaids' wands matched Debbie's bouquet, creating a cohesive and visually stunning bridal party.
